You didn't use boneless right?
ReplyDeleteYou can use either boneless or with bones, which ever you prefer.
ReplyDeleteUm, that looks amazing!! I think that's what Mr. Wonderful and I will partake of this weekend!! About how much BBQ sauce would you say you used?
ReplyDeleteOkay, you just officially made me hungry! I make something similar, and it is SO good. Seriously, one of the easiest recipes out there, and turns out perfectly every time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I think we have the same Crock Pot!
miss kristen, with twelve breasts (three layers), I used 1-1/2 40 oz. bottles of sauce. It was a bit too much for my crock pot (there was some spillage and overflowing while cooking), but I was also feeding a family in our neighborhood. The amount you use is really up to you. I just poured it on until it was a nice covering for the chicken.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Caryn! I've had that pot for almost 10 years. It came with a small sauce pot, too.
We got ours for our wedding, which was nine years ago, so that sounds about right. (HOW are we creeping up on a decade of marriage???? That seems impossible.)
